Hello Susan,

Sarcophaga (Sarcophaga): long p, pv and v hairs on the hind tibia and 4 dc are visible. I have no doubt about Sarcophaga (Sarcophaga) sp. However, i think that only Dr. Pape could recommend a species without genitalia.

I have identified carnaria, variegata and lehmanni via genitalia. Dr. Pape confirmed two of them for me (I wasn't sure if i was seeing the genitalia correctly.) If this were from Central Europe, then i would suggest checking against carnaria or variegata. However, France may have other species.
