Seen at Woodwalton Fen NNR yesterday: tentatively identified as a Hover-Fly (see https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/763779/not-a-hoverfly-on-reed-leaf). User Chris Brooks has corrected it to Ornate Brigadier (Odontomyia ornata). It's entirely new to me, so I wanted to share (and hopefully get confirmation, though CB is usually right).
