hmm... I had excluded Hydrotaea diabolus because of its dark, shiny black colour and the "spur" on its mid leg.

Below pics of confirmed (if I remember correctly, by Stéphane Lebrun) Hydrotaea dentipes (upper) and diabolus (lower).
