6.5mm - Berlin - May 2018 - found in stairwell on a wall
I think that this is Chironomidae but i am not qualified to determine the family. I am surprised at the size of this species. Any help is appreciated.

I've searched the site and found a similar record from Italy:

so Chironomidae is correct. Excellent :)
