I am not sure if you're a dipterist or a photographer because you imply that a first record is impossible. I find that interesting. I am trying to be helpful. I will just avoid commenting at any of your future posts.
Meantime, i still suggest that you wait for a confirmation about Calliopum. The fly is very dark and it doesn't really fit the description of any of the European Calliopum. I know that Paul is excellent with Lauxaniidae and if he has seen a dark form of Calliopum before, then he will post. I also think that he may be able to sugggest a proper species.
