Hello,

a very blue Muscid (?) yesterday at a hedge with dogwood (northwest Germany). About 7 mm. Eudasyphora sp.?

If I count correctly there are 3+3 dc and more than one postutural acrostichal, so Calliphoridae.

ah, thank you! Even more interesting. Could it be Protocalliphora azurea?

[Edit: No, only males of that species are so blue, and this seems to be a female.]
