Hello! Is it possible to identify the genus (or species)? Is it Culex?
Time and place: 2016-06-18 21:04:00. In the bank of the Tulva river. Midlle Ural.
Latitude: North. 56°46'
Longitude: East. 55°45'

This is not Culex (which has a blunt-ended abdomen). The tapered abdomen with the long cerci indicates Aedes or Ochlerotatus (I suspect the latter.) I'm not sure which species of Ochlerotatus live in the Ural Mountains, and many of the distinguishing characters for are not visible in the photo, so I'm not going to suggest a species. Next time, try to get more shots from different angles, and try to catch the specimen! ;)
