Hello,

a male Lucilia from a balustrade at a small creek (northwest Germany). Can it be determined?

Hello Jürgen, i really like these photos. very nice work my Friend. I know how hard it is to get a single photo, so multiple angles can be impossible at times. You do very well. Nature doesn't pose for us :) My Wife also likes these photos. The colors are splendid too. I can even see the hairs on the arista.

I just examined a fresh Lucilia caesar specimen today and it looks so much like the one in your photo.
