This fly was feeding on a lesser celandine (Fecaria verna) flower. The photo was taken today (May 6), in central part of European Russia (Moscow Oblast).
Based on images I've found in Internet, it looks very similar to flies of Myolepta genus, although all pics I've looked through had flies with some sort of orange marks on the abdomen, while my fly is completely black.
