Hi,
sunbathing on a path in a park in Vienna (April). Can the ID be confirmed?
Best,
Lorin

Thanks, Theo.
Accoring to Fauna Europaea,
K. unicolor is absent from Austria - this might not be too reliable, but I could not find any resources mentioning its occurrence in Austria.

For Tachinidae, fauna europaea is pretty decent .

Hi, want to bring this thread up again. As it is a female, the Tschorsnig-key mentions for
K. unicolor on tergite 4 "the marginal bristles are missing completely". So this should definetly be
K. moerens in my opinion.
Cheers, Lorin
