However, bear in mind that even experts misidentify animals at times. noone is perfect and this process is extremely difficult. We need teamwork and diptera.info is really a team. I encourage other reviews. I am not experienced with Protocalliphora or Protophormia, thus I make it clear that I could be wrong. I've actually corrected a few experts before. Noone is perfect and a misidentification cannot be used against an individual. Identification is extremely difficult at times even with genitalia. :) since I am not certain of this id, I leave it open for more experienced members.
