Hi,

Here is a Muscid in found in a swampy area in Sarthe (central/western France)
I identified it as a Lispocephala male. But not that easy on the specie, I propose L pallipalpis, but with lot of incertitude on L alma and L falculata
What do you think?

I can't see any cluster on the S5 (but not well visible). The setulae on anteror face of the hind tibia are a little stronger than the posterior on, but still have the shape of normal setae...

First check if there is a dark brown spot on each side of the scutellum at the base

then if tibia 2 has any ad setae
