Thank you for the information. Sorry for my late reply. I no longer receive email notification when there is a reply; must have a look at my settings.

The location is 30 km from a fjord with brackish water and Tripolium pannonicum. I will probably visit the coast several times this year and of course look for larvae.

At the C. uviformis location there are many Caltha palustris, Geum rivale (Cheilosia pubera), Valeriana and Eupatorium cannabinum.

I will make a thread with a female Cheilosia that resembles uviformis. Maybe you can have a look at it.
