Does this Lispe look okay for litorea? From Hull, UK in August at edge of the Humber estuary

I can see 3 images out of 5 (because I'm in Papua now). At first glance it is female of L. loewi

Thanks, Nikita. There appears to be only a faint midline on the abdomen and there does seem to be a dark spot by the antenna base (though it may not show up in these photos). Going on that led me to litorea from Gregor, but I have no experience of them, so appreciate your time on this.

Yes, L. litorea has midspots on lavel of base of antenna, L. loewi not and your female also not. And you could see that 1st pd on t2 is placed very high as it is in loewi. Once again: use my key to be sure.

Oh, brilliant, Nikita...thanks for that. Yes, it keys out to litorea through that as well. There is only one pd on t2 and there are 7 av on f3.
