Can anyone suggest a family for this fly? Light trap. Townsville, Queensland.

A lateral view might help. Little is visible of the head now.

The dorsal view and limited details for the head make this rather difficult. Still, the long and threadlike arista plus head chaetotaxy and overall habitus would suggest Sphaeroceridae.

The wing veins are too complete for most Sphaeroceridae, and subfamily Sphaerocerinae would not have rows of fine bristles on the thorax.
