Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tephritis angustipennis? = Tephritis tanaceti

Berlin - August

I've been looking through old photos and I found this Tephritidae from last year. I think that it should be Tephritis but I haven't spent much time researching. I don't have a specimen. Cloudy and rainy day, so the photo is not very good. sorry.

I'd say Tephritis tanaceti Hering; must be common in 50 km from its type locality

Thank you for your time, Sir Valery. I didn't consider this species (tanaceti) because it hasn't yet been recorded for Berlin. I only have the list from Schumann. I find alot of unrecorded species here, so I will have to collect this one for an official record. Very interesting genus. I haven't spent much time studying Tephritidae lately.
