The photos are super nice but an id for Pollenia requires genitalia in most cases. Russia has several Pollenia that the rest of us are missing which complicates the matter. Maybe it is in the vagabunda group because of the rusty hairs at the posterior gena, the inner ph setae and the yellow vestiture at the katepisternal area. Dr. Rognes alerts readers that these features are of no taxonomical value, so vagabunda group is just a suggestion (but not vagabunda in my opinion.) Note that I only suggest vagabunda group based upon the features mentioned above bot because of the pale dorsal vittae which is present on many Pollenia under the curly golden hairs.
