The problem of De Geer's names is that Chris Thompson (1993) misinterpreted them all as unnecessary replacement names for the Linnean names (and thus the synonyms), but they certainly are not, at least some. And this is the matter why leontodontis is not considered to be a valid name. I believe it needs a plenary power to conservate it.

And -- yes, it is T. leontodontis -- and not matricariae!
