The scutellar scales are as narrow and as yellow as those on my British
geniculatus, so I'd say it is that.
Oc.echinus have broader, whiter scales on the scutellum (though I don't have any comparative material here). If you are in woodland with old trees, it's worth catching any similar mosquitoes flying at present - they may well be
echinus.
