Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Haematopota bigoti?

This specimen was collected in same area where I've found H. bigoti before: https://diptera.i...d_id=74233

To me it seems that most of the characteres fit well with that species, except for one. The scape seems to be very dark and I'm not sure if I see any red.
Is it really H. bigoti despite the dark scape?

Yes, it is bigoti. the colouration of the scape is very variable, and you can senthe slightest of pinkish at the base.
