Hello,

my non-expert opinion: Empis livida female. One of the latest Empis of the season and this year especially late here in Germany, too (not as late as in Finland of course ;); I found the last one on 25.08.).

I have used that E. livida has yellow abdomen, but you are right. It is E. livida with grey abdomen.
