Can this be an Scathophaga, Conisternum decipiens.
If so it´s not seen in Sweden. It´s known from Denmark.
The picture is taken at Åsa 4 miles south of Gothenburg. The fly was sitting in a
bush vegetation ca 15 meters from the Shoreline.

When you attach images - "no spaces in the file name, not dots in the file name other than the one in front of the file extension and only alphanumerical characters and '-' and '_' are allowed."

If you use preview the link to the image is lost and need to be reattached.

Always mention location and date. Good luck.

In my opinion, this is a female Scathophaga litorea. It has well developped acrostichal setae.

Thanks Stefhane!
Make more sense than Conisternum decipiens.
