I am fairly sure this is a female Tachina fera (near Apeldoorn, NL on 10/09/2017) but I'm not sure about the front legs.

In the key it says that T. magnicornis females have segment 4 of the front tarsus clearly wider than long. How do you count them? Do you start at the claws and count towards the tibia (that would make number 4 longer than wide) or do you start at the end of the tibia and count towards the claws (that means segment 4 is the one with the water drop and it is wider than long)?
