Hi,
Among the mosquitoes in my brother`s house there was one sitting with rear end lifted, so I suppose Anopheles. The spotted wings fit A. maculipennis group, and that is probably all that can be said, I am afraid. My brother lives not far away from the Baltic, and A. atroparvus is said to be the most frequent shore species, but as females of all species of the group look very similar, I would be glad if A. maculipennis group could be confirmed.
Many thanks in advance, Sundew
