interesting. I thought about Meiosimyza rorida before but the genitalia doesn't look exactly like the drawing in Shatalkin's book. I suppose that maybe I do not have the genitalia in the correct position according to the drawing. However, the keys lead to M. rorida.

I am very sorry for posting a new thread. I have been very busy lately and I simply forgot that I had posted.

I wasn't aware that the valid name of the genus is Meiosimyza.
