I was expecting these to be Canace sp., but they don't have the bristles on the cheeks, or at least only along the bottom edge, not in the middle of the cheeks. They are in alcohol.

They were collected from an intertidal rock outcrop in a beach, Tywyn Aberffraw, Anglesey, North Wales, 19 July 2016.

Thanks. In the AIDGAP key to families it came to Tethinidae or Milichidae, but there was something that didn't fit either, but I'll have another look. One of the two previous North Wales records of T. illota is from Tywyn Aberffraw. Can you recommend a key to Tethinidae, please?

That was quick. Thanks very much. T. illota looks to be correct just from the photos, but I'll take the key home and make sure.
