I'd say it is the male of rotundatum, but separating these from nudifrons is very tricky. Females are straightforward....

Meantime, I remember all that you say about these. I think that I've read every thread here about Gymnosoma. Thus, I collected this one for id.
I'm not sure if you want specimens from Germany for dna study. But if I come across a strange Gymnosoma, then I will keep in 95% ethanol for you.
Thank You for the info. I will study this one carefully. I will try to find a nudifrons but they are not listed for Berlin. Maybe I will find a first record in the future.
also, I will drop the genitalia in koh tomorrow to clear them a bit better. Then I will make new photos with clove oil. Maybe I can maker nicer photos for reference.
