Exoprosopa.
perhaps jacchus but I will need to review the Spanish Exoprosopa to eliminate contenders.

It is a female Exoprosopa jacchus to me. However, identifying Exoprosopa of the pandora group in Spain requires much care, particularly from pictures.

Still, being from Southern Spain I am rather sure it is E. jacchus indeed. Although there is always this annoying little sting of doubt when dealing with species level of certain Bombyliids in Spain, even when one thinks it is sure ;)

Absolutely. And you have far more Bombyliidae in Spain than in Germany.
Greetings to you, Piluca :)

Yes, you are absolutely right ;) And some genera are realy challenging! But that is a big part of the fun ;-)

Sure you know the feeling: if it is easy, there is not fun :D

I like the challenging subjects. I learn more from the challenge. :)

Thanks for Exoprosopa jacchus. Looks right to an amateur as me.
