Hello,
this appr. 5 mm Acroceridae was found near Bitterfeld, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany on June 15. Could it be Ogcodes zonatus?
I would be pleased by an answer!

indeed a very interesting specimen! It would be highly informative to study it in more detail. In my opinion following characters disagree with the
O. zonatus hypotheses: the shapes of the band on tergites, the yellowish halter knob and the transparent margin of the calypter (all are quite variable). I would favor
O. gibbosus (L.) instead for males of that species this combination would be more typical, only the tibias are unusually dark (also a very variable character:)). To ensure it would be necessary to investigate some microscopic characters.

Yes, the tibiae seem to be very dark in these pictures. I attach another one in that
they are a bit lighter.
I will privately keep my pictures as Ogcodes cf. gibbosus.
