Thread subject: Diptera.info :: A calyptrate fly, help with ID needed --> Muscina stabulans

Hi there,

I found this specimen in June in my garden in Vienna, Austria.
Size approx. that of a housefly, maybe a bit larger. Tachinidae I could exclude but other than that I cannot find the right family.

Manchmal frag ich mich echt... Hab den Calypter natürlich schön deutlich gesehen, und nur bei den Calyptraten geschaut (Muscidae, Tachinidae etc). Ich ändere mal den Titel ab. Vielen Dank!
