Small sized Tipula 12.45 mm wing length, 9.5 mm body length, attracted to light, 2016, september the 3rd (Iberia: Catalonia: Girona: Beuda: 400 masl).

* Following the key at Faune de France (Pierre, 1926)
- Ailes presque unicolores, noirâtres, grises, jaunâtres ou roussâtres; bord antérieur parfois un peu plus foncé.
- Ptérostigma plus ou moins visible, précédé ou non d'une lunule blanche assez développée, souvent réduite à une petite tache pâle à peine distincte.
- RI et R2 anormales.
- R2 incomplète n'allant PqS jusqu'au bord de l'aile.

- Middle flagellar segments with one or more median bristles.
- Wing with R2 short or missing. Definitely not meeting costa, even if the break is short.
- Pleura yellowish, at most with light grey patches.

Could this be Tipula (Mediotipula)?
