Hello,

pictures are from 20.+21. April, but these 5-6 mm flies are overabundant in the last two weeks here in northwest Germany. In our garden or at the forest border, mostly on lower vegetation, but also on the ground or on tree trunks.

Very difficult to say anything....
It could be Delia platura, but the typical characters are not visible.
It also could be a Botanophila or Lasiomma species.

Sorry, I can't make anything of it....
