Hello,

the picture is from June 14, taken beside a small, slow flowing creek in Lenzen, Brandenburg, NE-Germany. Could it be Scathophaga inquinata?
I'm sorry for not having other views.

Best wishes,

Hans

I have the impression of at last one bristle in dorsal area of both hind femora. In addition to the general appearance it seems to be S. inquinata.

Hi Hans,

S. inquinata should be frequent in your area: http://www.zobodat.at/pdf/ENT_0030_0221-0256.pdf
