Hello,
this fly was found on July 5 on the cemetery of Dannenwalde in Brandenburg, Germany.
It is about 4 mm.
Is an identification possible?

Ai, the wing venation is totally out of focus.
Do you have any picture with a better view on the wing venation ?
In any case, it is a species of Acrocera and it is a female (yes, those ' male ' genitalia are female !!).

I had just a few seconds to react. The fly approached my eyes, and I swept it to the ground.

THe right wing is actually - by total accident - in focus in the last pic !
So it is Acrocera orbicula, sometimes placed in Paracrocera, which seems to be oversplitting to me.
It is pretty yellow, though, hence my first doubts
