Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Cheilosia bergenstammi?

Hello!

This rather large Syrphid (size between that of Eristalis interrupta and E. tenax) I found yesterday here in Ostwestfalen/Germany. Is it Cheilosia bergenstammi? Thanks in advance!

Dear Juergen,

I think it is Cheilosia canicularis, which would fit better with the given size.
