Is it possible to ID this Muscidae? This is the only photo I have.

I think Phaonia tuguriorum a likely candidate.

This is Phaonia valida : you can see 2 pairs of prescutellar acrostichals, the crossveins are only slightly infuscated (these 2 criteria rule out P. tuguriorum and P. scutellata), and the vein M is somewhat curved apically, a typical character for P. valida (the 4th member of the group being P. errans).
