Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae rather Sarcophagidae (Sarcophaga (Krameromyia) anaces)

I assume this specimen was found in France. Then genitalia and cerci show it is Sarcophaga (Krameromyia) anaces (Sarcophagidae).

From these pictures I can't give an opinion on the presence of a subscutellum, but I assume there is not a swollen subscutellum as usually present in Tachinidae and never in Sarcophagidae.

The general appearance is typically Sarcophagidae. The shape of R5 is also typical for Sarcophaga s.l. (compare a curved neck of a bottle).
