Hi,
Today I visited the heavily exudating elm tree of thread http://www.dipter...d_id=38628 and was delighted to find a male of Sphiximorpha subsessilis again! Furthermore, there was a grey and yellow fly hovering around the trunk, and when it sat down and allowed for some photos I saw the vena spuria of a Syrphid. So Brachyopa bicolor, feeding on tree saps, would fit perfectly! What do you say?
