Revisited after 'indagator' was suggested for a milichiid in another thread and checking out that correction.
Checking images of indagator it was quite noticeable that the halteres are whitish. The pictures above clearly show dark halters. Continuing with the remainder of the body colour, this specimen is over all much more black than standard indagator. Two Cacoxenus species have dark halters, exiguus and inquilinus. Characters mentioned in the Cacoxenus key deal with genitalia, placement of orbital setae and colour of the mesonotum. However, these are not nicely set to separate these two species (that is just based on the placement of the orbital setae and even that character is not 100% definite). Since the placemnt is poorly visible in these images, ID is not certain.
