Small (1.6 mm). On leaves in sunlight in the dry season (Feb) - Northern outskirts of Bangkok. The image shows three views of the same individual. For a crossed stereo pair of the live specimen go here <http://www.flickr.com/photos/jacobs_ian/8432734412/in/photostream>

ID would be appreciated.

Best regards

Thanks Paul - looking on the web... I think you are right ... and it looks like I fonnd another one that puzzled me - similar size (but the sites are in Chinese). Learn something new every day.

Much obliged .. what a great forum.

I will only have to ask this once - what would you like me to do with a post like this - I have renamed it as "Not Diptera but Scelionidae (Hymenoptera)" but since it is not a fly would you like me to delete the post altogether or should it be left as general interest?
