Unfortunately this fly escaped before I finished processing it.
Does anyone recognise it?

Note that the compound eyes nearly meet above the antennae, and the interesting pattern of 8 short antennal segments beyond the pedicel and probably 5 (possibly 6) more elongated segments distally.
Patterned wings, speckled dorsum and white spots on scutellum.
