Here's another one of me, this time in Ilomantsi (93 N lat, 31 E long).

This perticular old-growth forest is the home of Xylomya czekanowskii, Xylophagus kowarzi, Lejota ruficornis and many other lovely flies. The weather was rather cool and it was easy to catch the smaller flies directly from the tree trunks with a pooter.
