Hallo

These 2 midges where in August on a german forest.
Genus Aedes? Does someone know more about it?

Don't apologize Anders - corrected misidentifications is one of the great strengths of this site!
Ae. vexans is a species I hadn't met until this year (it's very rare in Britain). Hopefully I'll get it right next time! ;)
