I have a fly that I think is Acidia cognata, though the wing pattern is not as clear as shown in the gallery photos. It has two triangular black patches below the scutellum, strongly contrasting with the orange of the rest of the body. As this character is not mentioned in the Royal Ent. Soc. key, can anyone tell me if it fits A. cognata, please?

It was from woodland by the Menai Strait, N. Wales, Aug 2006.
