I found this interesting tachinid in AlmerÃa (Cabo de Gata), Spain. What can be said about it?

I agree. m-vein seems reduced, but it somehow does not look like
anthophila.

This should be Besseria zonaria. Frons is broad and calyptra are small compaired with B. anthophila.
