Thread subject: Diptera.info :: What is it exactly?

Location: Hungary
Date: 2006-10-26
Size: 25-30 mm
Habitat: Wood

I found it under a decomposing bark of a trunk (it was Beech or Scots Pine I cannot remember well). I am not an expert therefore I need your help. I brought to you two images. In the background of the second picture you can see a part of a slug.

Can't tell you the exact species, but this is a millipede (Diplopoda) of the family Julidae, possibly Cylindroiulus sp.
