There seem to be three names that could be applied here,
Conophorus pictipennis,
C. macroglossus and
C. fuminervis. However no one key includes them all. I suspect that one of these names is a synonym.
This fly clearly has a shorter proboscis than the individuals in the gallery
http://www.dipter...to_id=3229 so by comparison it will key to
fuminervis in Engel and Paramonov, neither of these works include
pictipennis. In Seguy it also runs to
fuminervis, but that work omits
macroglossus.
The gallery specimens are probably
macroglossus and this one
fuminervis, neither seem to be
pictipennis as defined in Seguy.
