Could someone help me identifying these gall?
Pehaps it was produced by Myopites olivieri (= M. inulaedyssentericae)?
It was on Dittrichia viscosa.
The photo (author: David Molina) was made near Castellón, Spain, on 9.1.2008.
Thanks

No question, a
Myopites. The only species known to me to infest D. viscosa is
M.
longirostris, but still Iberian species are poorly understood. I do not know what "
olivieri" is.

M. olivieri (not valid) is a synonym of M. inulaedyssentericae.
