Martin - I can really only comment on Ephydridae. As far as I know, there have been no special publications dealing with greenhouse species, except for problems with
Scatella species (which are known to be involved with disease transmission in salad crops). I have recorded other ephydrids from greenhouses, notably
Limnellia quadrata, but it appears that most records (apart from
Scatella) are accidental visitors.
Scatella breed in the algal mats that form on soil and irrigation matting when crops are regularly sprayed with water. There is a possibility that some
Scatophila species may also breed in heated greenhouses (old paper by Bolwig on
S. unicornis) but I have no personal experience of this. I am very happy to look at any photos or specimens of ephydrids from greenhouses from anywhere in the world! B)
