UK, Suffolk, mixed habitat, 2km from the coast. 24th July 2011, size 9mm approx
I've seen
Carcelia tibialis regularly over the past few weeks, but this looked slightly different in the field.
On closer inspection, The eyes are shorter, 3 bristles on katepisternum and scutellar apicals raised, tibia are blackish, 3 reclinate orbitals.
(post dc bristles of no use - 2 on one side, 4 on the other)
This leads me to
Huebneria affinis ! Comments welcome,
Steve
edited: I meant
C. lucorum rather than
tibialis :|
